Do you already know some Dutch either through a course or self-study? Are you ready to take the next step to A2? Then this is the perfect course for you! In this intensive course for 'false beginners or beginners+', you will focus on conversation through activating methods, AND you'll get lots of homework! If you prepare well for each lesson, it will benefit you & your fellow students in greatly improving your Dutch. You'll receive valuable interactive, dynamic & fun lessons by our experienced teachers. Location: Drosteboulevard 7, Haarlem 2x per week 2.5 hour group lessons • 24 lessons Small group of 5-7 students. (min. participation of 5 people) Teacher: Kim Dessing (Wednesday) Valerie Van Den Hende (Friday) Lessons: Wednesday & Friday 08:45 - 11:15 Start: January 27, 2027 End: April 23, 2027 (+ one week in case of unforeseen circumstances) *No class on the following dates: 24 & 26 February 2027* Goal: complete A2 Self study: At least the same amount of hours of class per week: ±5 hours (depending on the student). This course is for students who: • already know some Dutch either through a course or self-study • have done (part of) A1 or A2 and would like to strengthen their level • can pick up languages quite quickly. (The outcome of this course largely depends on how much time you spend on learning Dutch outside the classroom) • understand English • can work with a computer & a dictionary • have the ability, will and discipline to study independently • have a computer & internet Book: Nederlands in Gang | €51,50 (new edition juni 2026). The old book is different; you cannot use it for this course! Cost: €18 per hr x 24 x 2,5 hrs group lessons Total: €1105 (incl. reader, excl. book) Reader €25 Payment via invoice (only for companies): €18,- per hr x 24 x 2,5 hrs group lessons Total: €1156,50 (incl. reader + book) This course is also suitable as preparation for the civil integration exam. It's twice a week: low cost, high effort. 80% you'll learn outside the classroom anyways, no matter the frequency/intensity of any course.
